Mirror Mask and Straight Razors

Sunday, October 23rd, 2005

Has anyone else seen this movie yet? It’s the Neil Geiman/David McKean/Henson Productions movie. It sucked, but worth seeing just for it’s aesthetics. The opening credits were actually my favorite part.

In other news, has anyone ever used a straight razor? While in the razor aisle of the drug store, I became skeptical of spending $10 for a four-pack of razor blades. My “fuck this” attitude prevailed and I stopped at Sally’s and picked up straight razor. The price of 4 straight razor blades? 53?. With tax. Well, 53? plus two minor cuts. But it’s sweet as hell.

Going back to Cali (Repeat x2)

Friday, October 21st, 2005

I’m going to California for a week, and I’m still cleaning up my site, and work is kind of busy. Actually, it should be pretty much set, I just have the about page to do. Okay fine, one illustration before I leave. But that’s it. Cross your fingers. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get some culture while I’m over there. My friend Obray gave me a few recommendations for some sweet toy stores and some shoe shops. I’m just not sure if I’ll have time because I’m going up with the fam. But expect a lot of pictures and some sketches when I get back.

New Site is up!

Wednesday, October 19th, 2005

Welcome everyone to my new design! For all the new people, this is all my latest work. Illustration, photography — pretty much everything I think is pretty. Look at this area from now on for news updates about me or anything in general. The newest entry will always be up above, while the older ones will slowly gather dust down below.

Also, I’m sure I won’t be posting much while I fix all this crap, but at least you know what I’m doing. Take care everyone.

[Update] Sorry to all those people who I asked to look at my site and are using IE. Apparently in IE, my site looks like I vomited all over the Internet and then called it art (Subsequently, I hope my google ads now link to vomit-type things). Thanks for treating me like a special kid and just telling me, “Yeah, Juls… it, uh… it looks great,” and then not telling me how completely horrible it looked. I fixed it now. And I have more stickers.
